We’re looking for outside sales representatives to promote our platform. We believe the best people to help us spread the word about what we’re doing is the people who use it every day.

What type of position is this?
This is a full or part time independent, commission only outside sales position. You decide how much time you put in each week.
How am I compensated?
You’ll be compensated $5 per month per user you refer to CallLogApp as long as they are a customer. That means if you refer a company that signs up 100 users, you get $500.00 each month for as long as they remain a customer. You’ll be paid within 30 days of the organization signing up and paying for their user accounts. There is no compensation cap. Sign a customer with 10,000 users? That’s $50,000 to you each month – so long as you let us check out your yacht and private jet sometime.
What is expected of me?
We want people who have “boots on the ground” experience walking into a customer’s office, explaining their offering, and walking out with a deal. After the deal, you’ll remain that company’s point of contact for any issues. Outside of that, make and log your contacts using our software.
Do I have to have a technical background?
While it would be nice, it’s not necessary. In fact, we’d prefer candidates with deep industry experience and connections over a new grad with a shiny MBA. All you’ll really need is an ability to explain our product thoroughly and demonstrate it using a smartphone, tablet, or laptop.
Is there a compensation cap?
No. You can earn as much or as little as you like.
What is the sales cycle look like?
We expect that outside reps will be able to close clients quickly, often in as little as a few contacts.
What kind of training is required?
Absolutely. We’ll run you through a series of online training sessions to familiarize you with our product. We don’t hold any formal sales training – we expect that you’ll already know how to sell when you apply.
Is travel required?
Not outside of making customer contacts. We may occasionally hold on-site events for Sales Representatives, but they are optional at this point.
Am I compensated for sales expenses (i.e., client dinner, a round of golf, or other expenses)
No. We expect that you’ll cover any costs incurred during the sales process out of your commission.
Are there any restrictions?
- Commissions are paid out using PayPal, so you’ll need an account there.
- You’ll be paid within 30 days of the organization signing up and paying for their user accounts.
- If a particular company stays within our pipeline for 180 days or longer, we’ll consider them “cold” and you’ll no longer receive commission on the sale. (Here’s the deal, we usually side for the rep on this sort of thing… But we don’t want you to talk to 200 people once, we want you to talk to 50 four times – moving them down the sales pipeline each time)
I run a website, and I’d like to promote CallLogApp.com as an affiliate – can you do that?
We’re open to affiliate deals – but we only pay out commission on closed deals – so make sure you’re more than a website – you need to be a “value added” resource. We’ll review each website on a case-by-case basis.
